Italy Visas

We provide different types of legalization:

1. Certified translation of documents from foreign languages to Italian and vice versa
A&P team is formed by qualified foreign languages speaking experts with years of experience within the area of international mobility. In addition to a translation service for what concerns official documents, we can also provide their certification to prove their legal effectiveness.
2. Legalization of Italian documents to be valid in foreign countries
The legalization certifies the legal effectiveness of the Official, who has set his/her signature on a document (certificates, copies etc) and of the signature.
Documents have to be first signed by notaries, chancellery officials and by bailiffs. Then the legalization of the Public Prosecutor’s Office’s  jurisdiction is required.
If the documents are issued by the registry office, their legalization comes within the Prefecture.
3. Legalization of documents issued by foreign diplomatic or consular representation placed in Italy to be valid on the Italian territory
The legalization of certificates and documents issued in foreign countries, which have to be valid in Italy, has to be affixed by the Italian diplomatic or consular representation which is placed in the country which has issued the document.
4.“Apostille” legalization
The documents issued or to be validated in the countries which took part in the Hague Convention (signed on 5th October 1961) can be affixed with the apostille, which is a special stamp certifying the legal effectiveness of the Official, who has set his/her signature on a document (certificates, copies etc) and of the document.
The apostille can be asked by:
- all Italian citizens or foreigners who have to validate a document in Italy;
- all Italian citizens or foreigners who have to validate a foreign consular document in Italy.
PLEASE NOTE: The documents issued by countries, which are not included in the Hague Convention have to be legalized by the embassy of the country in which to move.
